A woman’s belly with words written in ink pen on her skin, “your pearly horns, with my blood, your merciless hands, down my walls.”

My first breath is drawn from your lips
and my last, you steal with a kiss.
Ivy tendril spring from my fingertips
searching your skin for a hold.
I will grow on you,
my persistence will outlive
your seasons.
