When my heels click on the cold marble floors each morning
I think of you strutting on the hot streets of Mexico City.

When I take my dainty tea at noon
I imagine you with cold thick mochas
and extra chocolate clinging to your beard.

When I pass the used record store and hear them playing salsa
I think of you strumming your guitar like it’s a woman.
